CBSE Experience Centre Opens in Delhi: Students to Explore AI, Space and Future Careers
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the new CBSE Experience Center at its Integrated Complex, Dwarka, New Delhi. It seeks to create an interactive and practical experience for learners in their learning process. It was launched by Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi on October 27, 2026.
It occupies 6,000 square feet of space and comprises 12 zones with 21 exhibits. The exhibits help learners discover the educational history of India, scientific concepts, advanced technology and career prospects.
CBSE Experience Centre Focuses on Practical Learning
In his speech during the inauguration, the Education Minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized the necessity of transcending rote learning and an overemphasis on examination scores. Education should take into account not just the marks but also the interests and aptitudes of students.
It is aligned with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 that emphasizes experience-based learning. Through observation and experimentation, students can learn about science without just relying on books.
He also emphasized the importance of Atal Tinkering Labs for innovation and scientific learning. As per him, there are already 10,000 of these laboratories in the country, and the government aims to set up 50,000 more.
A step towards more engaging, application-oriented education. Glimpses from the inauguration of the CBSE Experience Centre, where learning comes alive through exploration, experimentation and discovery, inspiring young minds to think creatively and innovate. @cbseindia29 https://t.co/RxwCe6fiFu

What Can Students Explore at the CBSE Experience Centre?
The center starts with Shiksha Ki Kahani, a movie depicting the education story of India. This involves the early gurukul education, Nalanda University, and the current development of modern schools and online classes.
There is another area which is dedicated to the history of CBSE, complete with photos and documents dating as far back as 1935. Students have access to an interactive geological timeline illustrating the history of Earth for millions of years.
Career Exploration and Future Opportunities
Career Exploration is yet another significant aspect of the CBSE Experience Center, which includes various displays such as Career Explorer, Future of Professions and Magic Mirror: Future You.
Such exhibits give the students an idea of what kinds of changes could be expected in the professions and the job opportunities in the coming future.
Interactive Exhibits and Smart Technology
It also has holographic interactions with famous personalities like Dr BR Ambedkar and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
Students can use the RFID smart card system to interact with the exhibits and participate in various activities and get personalized souvenirs from the exhibits. The interactive technology will make the learning experience interesting for the students.
There is a kiosk at the center which is based on the book "Exam Warriors" written by Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi which helps the students prepare for their examinations and teaches them how to go through exams with self-confidence and reduce the stress of examinations.
CBSE Experience Center provides an interactive platform to the students with the help of education, technology, science, and career options.
