CBSE Class 12 Board Exam Cancelled: Result Criteria will be well-defined objective, Highlights of PM Modi’s Meeting

CBSE Class 12th Board Exam Cancelled this decision was taken in a meeting on Tuesday 1st June 2021. Meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.

PM Modi said the decision of cancelling the board exam is taken in the interest of students due to the uncertain situation of COVID-19.

A review meeting was held on Tuesday at 05:30 PM to discuss the CBSE Class 12th board examination and other state’s examination. The officials had presented to them all the views and earlier decisions taken from the all state and government.

What PM Narendra Modi Said on Class 12th Exam?

After the meeting ended PM Narendra Modi Tweeted at 7:39PM. The tweet was 

“Government of India has decided to cancel the Class XII CBSE Board Exams. After extensive consultations, we have taken a decision that is student-friendly, one that safeguards the health as well as future of our youth.” 

Highlights of PM Modi’s Meeting:

• "The health and safety of our students is of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect," PM Modi said.

• He said that the anxiety among the students, parents and teachers must be put to an end.

Class 12th Result Criteria 2021

During the crucial meeting that was held on Tuesday with Union Ministers and other ministers. It was decided that the CBSE will take further steps to compile the result of class 12th as per the Well-defined Objective Criteria.

"Class XII results will be made as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner," the PM said.
