CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Result 2026: Scanned Copy and Re-evaluation Dates
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the schedule for post-result services for students who took the Class 12 supplementary exam 2026. If you're not happy with your marks, you can apply for a scanned copy of your evaluated answer book, verification of marks, or re-evaluation.
The window to apply for a scanned copy of your answer book opens on August 31 and closes on September 1, 2026. It costs Rs 100 per subject. Students who want verification of marks or re-evaluation can apply on September 7 and 8. Verification costs Rs 100 per answer book, and re-evaluation costs Rs 100 per question.
One thing that is very clear from CBSE is that the scanned copy has to be applied for and obtained first. Then you can move onto requesting verification or revaluation. This is an entirely online process, and no late applications will be entertained.
| Event | Date | Fee |
|---|---|---|
| Apply for scanned copy of answer book | August 31 to September 1, 2026 | Rs 100 per subject |
| Apply for verification of marks | September 7 to 8, 2026 | Rs 100 per answer book |
| Apply for re-evaluation | September 7 to 8, 2026 | Rs 100 per question |
When you receive the scanned copy, there are three things that you should verify. Firstly, you should check to see if all the questions are marked by the examiner. Secondly, you should see if the marks have been marked correctly. Lastly, you should calculate the total marks.
The re-evaluation applies to the theory component only. The applicant will be required to submit his/her request for a complete question and not any part thereof. Furthermore, a rationale should be provided for the challenging of the questions according to the marking scheme.
The Board has advised students that the scores may be increased or decreased following verification/re-evaluation. A change of one score makes the difference. The outcome of re-evaluation is final and cannot be appealed in any subsequent stage.
