CBSE Eases Scrutiny, Re-evaluation Fee Payment; 4 PSU Banks Join In - Check Full Details
Good news for all those who have applied or will apply for checking, verification, and rechecking of their answer sheets after the CBSE Board Exams. The CBSE has finally digitized the entire process, making everything convenient and hassle-free for all students.
As reported by CBSE on Tuesday morning, a large number of students have availed of this service without any issues related to technical problems. CBSE has introduced several payment gateways by four major banks in India through its website for Verification and Re-checking.
Payment gateways of SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda and Indian Bank are available on the Verification and Re-evaluation portal. Students need not have an account with these banks to complete payment but can use any of these payment gateways to make payments.

4 PSU Banks Now on Board
CBSE has also informed that the payment gateways of SBI, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank have become operational for the verification and re-evaluation online portal. The interesting aspect is that students need not have any kind of account in these banks for making payment. Any of these payment gateways can be used by the students for completing their transactions.
Multiple Online Payment Options Available
Candidates can pay the fees using a wide range of digital payment modes, including:
- UPI
- Net banking
- Credit card
- Debit card
All these options are available through the designated bank gateways, giving students full flexibility to choose what suits them best.
Nearly 40,000 Students Have Applied So Far
As of 9:30 am today, Tuesday, June 3, 2026, more than 40,000 students have effectively availed of this facility and applied without any difficulty, CBSE reported. This rapid uptake indicates that the newly implemented improvements, such as longer duration and a stronger payment system, are now fully functioning on the platform.
CBSE's Advice to Students
CBSE has further emphasized that only the announcements made by the Board regarding the rechecking process should be considered valid, and students must not take actions based on unofficial information posted on social media or through any other sources.
As many as four big banking institutions are now providing support to the payment system, along with several other online methods of applying for this facility.
