CBSE OSM Data: 11 Lakh Students Requested Answer Books, 3.8 Lakh Opted for Re-Checking

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has shared new figures on its answer-book verification drive. More than 1.6 lakh Class 12 students submitted requests covering over 3.8 lakh answer books. The window for these requests stayed open from June 2 to June 7.

The board released these numbers while clearing the air about complaints. Some students and parents had raised concerns about how the 'Post-Result Services Portal' was working.

CBSE said the application window ran smoothly through the entire notified period. Government technical agencies and teams from the IITs supervised the process. Dedicated cyber security teams kept watch on the system at all times to block malicious traffic and online threats.

The board also said its helpdesk and grievance support stayed available to guide students throughout.
