The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has warned students, parents and stakeholders that some unauthorized sources and platforms are making misleading claims for duplicate mark sheets, certificates and corrections in official documents.

The board has clearly stated that these claims are completely false and misleading and are not associated with CBSE in any way.

Beware of Fake Claims

CBSE Regional Office (Delhi-East) informed that many platforms are misleading students that they can issue mark sheets or certificates quickly. The board has clarified that trusting such false claims may result in financial loss and serious consequences for students and parents.

Where to get official information?

CBSE reiterates that –

Information regarding issuance of duplicate documents,
correction in certificates or records,
and other examination/student services

Available only on the official website www.cbse.gov.in.

The board has also made it clear that it will not be responsible for any loss or trouble caused by services taken from third parties or any unauthorized source.

Board's appeal

CBSE said that this advice has been issued in public interest so that students and parents are not misled. The board has urged everyone to be cautious and get information and services only through official means.
