The official notification for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 has been released by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). The exam will be held on December 7, 2025 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
Through CLAT, students get admission to 5-year integrated LLB (UG) and 1-year LLM (PG) programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India.

CLAT 2026 Registration Process
Candidates can apply online by visiting the official website – consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The step-by-step application process is:

Log in and fill in your personal details

Enter academic details and select up to 3 preferred exam centres

CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
For UG (5-Year LLB) Program:

Admission Through CLAT
CLAT scores are accepted by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) and several private universities and public sector organizations. Admission to LLB and LLM programs is based on CLAT rank, seat availability, and candidate category.
