The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will release the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 results on December 17. A senior official from NLU-Lucknow confirmed to Media Reports that results are expected by 10 am. "The results will be uploaded on the website before 10 am on December 17," the official said. Candidates can check their CLAT 2026 results on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in once released.

The CLAT 2026 exam was held on December 7. This exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes at National Law Universities and other participating institutions.

Over 92,000 candidates registered for CLAT 2026. Out of these, 88,657 students appeared for the exam. This shows an attendance rate of around 96 per cent. Among the total candidates, 75,009 appeared for the undergraduate test. The remaining 17,335 students took the postgraduate examination.

CLAT 2026 Results: How to Download Scorecards from the Official Website

Candidates can follow these simple steps to download their CLAT 2026 scorecard:

Step 1: Go to the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on the CLAT 2026 result link on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter your registered mobile number and password.

Step 4: Click the submit button to log in.

Step 5: Your CLAT 2026 result will appear on the screen.

Step 6: Download and save the scorecard for future use.

The CLAT 2026 scorecard will include important details. These include the candidate's name, roll number, application number, marks obtained, overall rank, and category rank. Based on previous years' patterns, the counselling process usually starts soon after the result declaration.

CLAT 2026 Counselling Process

After the results are out, the CNLUs will open registration for CLAT 2026 counselling. Qualified candidates will need to register online. They'll have to select their preferred National Law Universities and programmes. The counselling will have multiple rounds of seat allotment.

Cut-off ranks for each NLU and course are released during each counselling round. These cut-offs vary based on the institution, category, and seat availability. Candidates who get a seat must complete document verification. They'll also need to pay the admission fee within the given deadline to confirm their admission.
