CLAT 2027 Exam Centre List Revised: Vellore & Tiruvarur Removed, Correction Window Open for Candidates

There is a significant announcement made by the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU) regarding CLAT 2027 aspirants. There has been an updated list of CLAT 2027 Test Centre City List, and in this updated list, two cities have been eliminated from the available list of examination centres.

As per the latest notification from the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU), Vellore and Tiruvarur have been excluded from the list of CLAT Examination Centre List 2027. Those candidates who had opted for one of these cities as their test centre must opt for any other available city from the list of available test centres.

The Consortium has urged those candidates whose test centres have been excluded from the list of CLAT 2027 to make changes accordingly.

The notification stated that Vellore and Tiruvarur have been removed as Test Centre Cities for CLAT 2027. Candidates who selected these cities as their test centre preference are requested to choose an alternative Test Centre City.

The CLAT 2027 centre preference change facility has become available to candidates who have chosen Vellore or Tiruvarur as their test centre. Candidates will need to access their CLAT registered accounts and make changes to their city preference for the examination.

It must be noted here that this is a CLAT 2027 test centre city preference change facility. This is not the CLAT 2027 full form correction facility. Once submitted, other information provided by the candidate in the CLAT application cannot be changed.

For candidates who have chosen Vellore and Tiruvarur as the exam cities, here is how they can alter it:

• Enter the CLAT 2027 admission portal and enter your login credentials.
• Enter your CLAT account dashboard.
• Tap on the ‘Edit Application Form’ option.
• Enter the ‘Test Centre Preference’ tab.
• Choose another test city from the list.
• Tap on the Save/Submit button.

CLAT 2027 Candidates Must Update Preference Before Deadline

Candidates who have been impacted by the elimination of Vellore and Tiruvarur centres must change their preferred test city immediately. By choosing an operational exam centre, candidates can be assured of getting an effective test city for CLAT 2027.
