CLAT 2027 Notification: Expected Release Date, Eligibility & Application Process
The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) will release the official CLAT 2027 notification soon. Once it's out, candidates can view and download the notification PDF from the official website. The CLAT 2027 information brochure will also be available online at consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
This brochure will cover all the key details, including the exam date, syllabus, application process, and exam pattern. Students who want to join a five-year integrated law course at a top NLU need to appear for this exam and qualify.

CLAT 2027 Eligibility
Candidates appearing for CLAT 2027 should check the eligibility criteria below:
For the Unreserved Category
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate marks from a recognised board. Those appearing for Class 12 can also apply.
For the Reserved Category
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with at least 40% aggregate marks from a recognised board. SC, ST, and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation. Those appearing for Class 12 can apply too.
CLAT 2027 Application Process
Follow these simple steps to apply for CLAT 2027:
- Visit the official CLAT 2027 website and create an account to register.
- Sign in using your login OTP and fill in the required details.
- Upload your documents in the format mentioned.
- Pay the application fee through UPI, debit card, or credit card.
- Review all your details and documents, then submit the form.
- Save and download the page for future reference.
CLAT 2027 Application Fee
The CLAT 2027 application fee is expected to be Rs 4,000 for the unreserved category, which includes General, OBC, PwD, and NRI candidates. For the reserved category, the fee is expected to be Rs 3,500, which covers SC, ST, and BPL candidates.
The official CLAT 2027 exam date hasn't been announced yet. The NLUs will conduct the exam for both CLAT-UG and CLAT-PG courses in December 2026. The application link will go live on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates should keep checking the website to stay updated with the latest notifications.
