CLAT 2027 Registration (Begins): Dates, Direct Link, Eligibility, Fees and Documents

The Consortium of National Law Universities has commenced the registration process for CLAT 2027 on August 3. Eligible candidates can now apply for CLAT 2027 through the official website, consortiumofnlus.ac.in.

The complete registration process for CLAT 2027 would take place online. The candidates can apply for the entrance test till October 31, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the application form well before the due date to avoid any last-minute technical error.

CLAT 2027 will take place on December 6, 2026 in one shift only. The entrance exam will take place from 2 pm to 4 pm at various examination centers located across the country in offline mode.

Candidates who are preparing for CLAT 2027 can now check the complete CLAT 2027 syllabus and exam pattern. It is necessary to know the marking scheme and question type along with important topics of the exam.

Common Law Admission Test is a law entrance exam which is conducted at the national level. The test is being conducted for the admission into undergraduate and postgraduate law courses offered by various National Law Universities.

Candidates need to thoroughly go through the CLAT 2027 eligibility criteria prior to submitting the application form. The application forms will be cancelled if a candidate does not fulfill any eligibility criterion of the Consortium.

The candidates can go through the steps mentioned below to successfully apply for CLAT 2027:

Step 1: Go to the official website of CLAT: consortiumofnlus.ac.in

Step 2: Registration is done with the help of active mobile number and email id.

Step 3: Login into the application portal with the registered mobile number or email id.

Step 4: Fill in the required personal and other details accurately.

Step 5: Choose your preferred National Law Universities in proper sequence.

Step 6: Upload your documents in the prescribed format and size.

Step 7: Pay the application fees for CLAT 2027 based on your category.

Step 8: Finally, submit the application form and save the confirmation receipt.

Candidates need to check all the details provided in the application form before submitting it because any wrong entry can cause difficulty during the admission process or document verification process.

CLAT 2027 Application Fee

CLAT 2027 application fee depends on the category of the applicant.

Applicants are supposed to pay the application fees online through one of the available modes of payment. It is necessary to retain the proof of payment and the application form.

CLAT Application Form 2027 : Mandatory Documents Required

Students have to keep these documents ready on their device before starting to fill the application:

  • A recent passport-size photograph.
  • Clear image of your signature.
  • Category certificate for SC, ST, or OBC students.
  • Domicile certificate if claiming state quota seats.
  • Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets.
