COMEDK 2025: Exam Postponed in 12 Cities – Revised Dates Coming Soon

The COMED-K Undergraduate Entrance Exam 2025, which was scheduled to be held on May 10, has been postponed in select cities as per the instructions of the Government of India under Operation 'Sindoor'. New exam dates and updates will be released soon on the official website. Students should keep checking the website regularly.
The list of affected test cities includes locations: Gujarat: Jamnagar (test city code: 26428); Jammu and Kashmir: Srinagar (14126), Jammu (7994); Punjab: Ludhiana (14458), Bathinda (1686), Jalandhar (2288), Mohali (38190), Patiala (8756), Amritsar (8799) and Rajasthan: Jodhpur (16596), Bikaner (8665), Sriganganagar (28906).
Around 3000 students were expected to take the exam in these affected cities. The authorities have directed the closure of educational institutions and establishments in these cities, so that the examination can be postponed in a safe and orderly manner.
The press release issued by Comed-K states that the revised dates for these affected centers will be announced later. The release tells candidates, "Candidates appointed to centers in these cities need not panic. They will be able to appear for their examination after the announcement of new dates."
All candidates are requested to regularly visit the official website www.comedk.org and www.unigauge.com for further updates and instructions.
Comed-K Secretary Dr. S Kumar said, "We have informed all the students individually about the postponement of the examination. We have advised them not to panic and we will conduct the examination on an alternate day whenever the government allows."
Comed-K 2025 exam will be held as per schedule in most cities on May 10. However, the exam in some affected cities has been postponed under Operation 'Sindoor'. The revised exam dates in the affected cities will be announced later. All candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for updates.
The COMED-K entrance exam for engineering programmes in private colleges in Karnataka and selected All India Member Universities will be held on Saturday with 1.31 lakh students. Earlier the exam was held every second Sunday in May, but it was shifted to Saturday due to clash with other exams.
