JEE Main 2027 Registration Date: NTA Registration Expected This Week, Check Documents Required

NTA will soon declare the JEE Main 2027 registration date. Application form for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 will also be released by NTA shortly after the official announcement. As per the declared schedule, the exam for JEE Main 2027 Session 1 will commence from 22nd January 2027.

Students aspiring to take the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 exam will have to submit their application form after the registration process is made live. The application form will be available online at the website, www.jeemain.nta.nic.in. Prior to filling the application form, students will have to register for JEE Main 2027 through Aadhaar or DigiLocker.

Students should ensure that their DigiLocker ID is active and their Aadhaar data is updated with the most recent and correct information.

Following successful completion of the registration process, students can fill out the JEE Main 2027 application form. Students will have to enter their personal and academic information, select the paper they wish to appear in along with providing their preferred examination cities. Students will also be required to upload scanned copies of their photo and signature.

Students who belong to the category of benchmark disabilities (PwD/PwBD) will have to upload their UDID card.

Documents Required for JEE Main Registration 2027

Candidates should keep the required documents ready before starting the JEE Main 2027 application process.

Those candidates who are successful in clearing Class 12 shall also be required to furnish information about their Class 12 examinations.

Those candidates who do not have an Aadhaar card may use other means for identification like PAN Card, Voter ID Card, or Driving License according to the prescribed verification procedure. These candidates may have to verify their identities at the test center.

How to Register for JEE Main 2027

Once the JEE Main 2027 application form is released, candidates can follow these steps:

1. Visit the official JEE Main website.
2. Complete the identity verification using Aadhaar or an alternative government-issued ID.
3. Complete the registration process and create login credentials.
4. Log in and fill in your personal, academic and examination details.
5. Select the preferred examination paper and exam cities.
6. Upload the required documents, including the photograph and signature.
7. Upload category or other certificates, if applicable.
8. Pay the JEE Main 2027 application fee through the available online payment options.
9. Submit the application form and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Who Can Apply for JEE Main 2027?

The candidates who will be passing out of Class 12 or any equivalent exam in 2025 and 2026 are eligible for appearing in JEE Main 2027. In addition to that, the candidates who will be giving their Class 12 or equivalent exams this year too will be eligible.

According to the above eligibility criteria, there is no age limit on appearing in JEE Main.

Candidates are allowed to take the JEE Main test for three consecutive academic years starting from the year they have passed out of Class 12.

The students are recommended to go through the JEE Main 2027 notification once it is released.
