COMEDK Round 2 Seat Allotment Schedule Released – Check Dates & Details

COMEDK has released the schedule for Round 2 counselling for admission to undergraduate engineering courses. The process is only for KKR (Karnataka-Kannada residents) and HKR (Hyderabad-Karnataka region) category students.

The counselling schedule is available on the official website comedk.org. The choice filling portal for Round 2 will be live from August 7, 2025 to August 8, 2025 (till 4 pm).

Eligibility for Round 2 (Only for KKR candidates)

As per the COMEDK notification, only those KKR candidates can participate in Round 2 counselling who:

Have opted for "Accept & Upgrade" or "Reject & Upgrade" option in Round 1.
Those who were not allotted any seat in Round 1 but fall under KKR category.

Candidates can get the option to add, delete or reorder choices in this step. However, the allotted seat of Round 1 will appear in green colour and cannot be changed.

Steps for Online Choice Filling – COMEDK Round 2 Counselling 2025

Candidates can follow the simple steps given below:

Visit comedk.org.
Click on the “COMEDK Counselling 2025 Round 2” link on the homepage.
Log in to the portal by entering the login credentials.
Add, delete or reorder your preferred colleges and courses.
Lock the choices and submit.
Download the confirmation page and take a print out of it.

Important Points

Round 2 is only for KKR and HKR candidates.
GM (General Merit) category candidates will get the opportunity in Round 3 and 4.
Candidates have to complete all the steps on time otherwise the seat will not be considered confirmed.
The option to cancel the seat will be available only to KKR candidates.
