Cochin University has started the CUSAT CAT 2025 counselling process on its official website admissions.cusat.ac.in. Registered candidates can now log in to fill in their course and college preferences (option entry). The complete counselling schedule will be published soon.

The CUSAT CAT 2025 counselling process includes choice filling, seat allotment, fee payment, and reporting at the allotted institute. Only those who have qualified the CUSAT CAT 2025 exam (declared on June 4, 2025) are eligible for counselling.

Note: Candidates seeking admission to Marine Engineering must appear for the IMU CET exam.

Step-by-Step CUSAT CAT 2025 Counselling Process

Step 1: Log in with Registered Account: Candidates must log in using their registered ID and password on the CUSAT portal to access the counselling dashboard.

Step 2: Fill in Choices: After logging in, candidates should choose their preferred colleges and courses. It's advised to fill in as many choices as possible and lock them before the deadline. If not locked manually, the system will auto-lock them. Once locked, choices can’t be edited.

CUSAT CAT 2025 Counselling

The entire CUSAT CAT 2025 counselling is conducted online. Candidates selected based on their ranks must log in to complete each stage. The counselling is carried out in multiple rounds as per availability and merit.

CUSAT CAT 2025 Seat Allotment

CUSAT will release the seat allotment results online for each round. Allotment is based on candidate rank, seat availability, and locked choices. Candidates must complete the allotment process before the final date and download their allotment letter.Spot allotment rounds may also be conducted and will be updated on the official website.

Seat Confirmation and Fee Payment

After seat allotment, candidates must confirm their admission by paying the required fee within the given deadline. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the allotted seat.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

After fee payment, candidates must report to the allotted college with their allotment letter and original documents along with two photocopies of each. Reporting must be done within the specified time.
