GATE 2022 Exam Date has been announced by the organizing institute. As per the announced date, the GATE 2022 will be conducted in February on 5, 6, 12, and 13. This GATE-22 Exam will be held next year for admission into MTech courses.

Apart from the GATE 2022 Date announcement, the information was shared that two new papers will be available to the candidates which are GE (Geomatics Engineering) & NM (Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering). By adding these two new papers in GATE 2022 the total number of GATE Papers will be 29.

The GATE 2022 Eligibility criteria will also be expanded.

Director of IIT-Kharagpur VK Tewari said, ‘the addition of two new papers will provide the direct benefits to the our graduates in these two areas, especially when the especially when the country needs human resources with advanced capabilities in shipbuilding industries and geo-informatics,"

Additionally, he added, ‘GATE is fast acquiring a brand value and foreign universities are also utilising the scores for their admission,"
