GATE 2027 Registration: Check Required Documents, DigiLocker Details and Dates

GATE 2027 aspirants are supposed to gather the necessary documents and personal details before filling up the application form. Indians need to enroll through DigiLocker and from there, the system will obtain your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, and postal address.

The candidates are advised to make sure that their account on DigiLocker is authenticated and that all the documents uploaded are readable. The candidates who belong to reserved categories and who require special arrangements must upload the appropriate certificates too.

Documents Required for GATE 2027 Application

Before filling the application form for GATE 2027, candidates have to keep the following documents and particulars ready:

• DigiLocker account with approval for accessing personal data.
• Personal particulars, matching with personal data of original ID.
• Particulars related to degree, like name of institution or college and PIN code of the institution.
• Choosing of GATE paper and six exam cities of same zone.
• Recent photograph and signature.
• Photograph captured live at the time of filling up the form.
• Original ID card verified by DigiLocker for exam day verification.
• SC/ST certificate, if any, to be uploaded as CATEGORY.pdf in GATE2027 folder.
• UDID/PwD certificate, if any, to be uploaded as UDID_CERT.pdf or PWD_CERT.pdf.
• Scribe and compensatory time certificate, if any.
• Particulars for making online fee payment through UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Note: If the candidate is using an unverified DigiLocker account, he can choose the default ID proof. Applications with such IDs will be checked after the closing date of the application form.

GATE 2027 DigiLocker Registration Details

DigiLocker will be used to fetch important candidate information at the time of registration. It is advisable for candidates to have their DigiLocker account verified and make sure the information available via it is correct.

Their name, date of birth, mobile number, email address, and residence address need to be carefully scrutinized, as any kind of discrepancy in this information can create problems for the candidate while processing his/her application form.

Candidates must also keep their original photo identification card with them as it will be needed for verification on the test day.

GATE 2027: Documents for Reserved Categories and PwD Candidates

The candidates belonging to the SC/ST category need to ensure that they have a valid category certificate, which is uploaded in the specified manner.

The candidates who belong to the PwD category need to keep their UDID or PwD certificate handy, and the file names should be UDID_CERT.pdf and PWD_CERT.pdf respectively.

The candidates availing themselves of the scribe or compensatory time facility need to arrange for the certification.

It is recommended that candidates validate all their documents before uploading. All the files have to be readable and in accordance with the required format guidelines.

The personal data of the candidate have to match the original identity documents of the candidate. Candidates should thoroughly check their application before submission in order to avoid processing problems.
