GATE 2024 Registration Postponed : Expected Start on August 30 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in; Check Full Details
The Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, has made changes to the GATE 2024 registration date. The registration process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is now slated to commence on August 30, 2023. Interested candidates can submit their applications for the examination through the official IISC GATE website at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
Previously, the registration process was initially scheduled to start on August 24 but has now been postponed. According to the information available on the official website, the last date for application submission remains September 29, 2023. The extended deadline is until October 13, 2023. As for the exam schedule, the admit cards will be accessible from January 3, 2023, and the examination will take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2023.
Eligibility criteria for GATE 2024 include candidates who are currently enrolled in the 3rd year or higher years of any undergraduate degree program or those who have successfully completed any government-approved degree program in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ Humanities.

To apply for the examination, candidates can follow the steps given below.
- Visit the official site of IISC GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.
- Click on GATE 2024 registration link available on the home page.
- Register yourself and login to the account.
- Once done, click on submit.
- Fill in the application form and make the payment of application fees.
- Click on submit and download the confirmation page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
