Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has announced the IISER Counselling 2025 Round 2 seat allotment on 1st August 2025. All those candidates who applied through SCB channel and qualified for Round 2 can now check their seat allotment status.

On the basis of the merit list, eligible candidates have been allotted seats in various IISER institutes.

Selected candidates have to pay the fee by 5th August 2025. Round 3 seat allotment will be released from 8th to 12th August and Round 4 seat allotment from 16th to 19th August 2025. It is important to complete the process on time.

ISER Counselling 2025: Step by Step Process

Registration: Candidates register online on the official website.
Filling of Selection Choices: Candidates fill the IISERs of their choice in the order of preference.
Document Upload: Upload scanned certificates, mark sheets, etc.
Fee Payment: Submit the counselling fee through online mode.
Seat Allotment: Seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit.
Accepting Seat: Accept the allotted seat on time and pay the fee.
Document Verification: Appear at the reporting centre with original documents.

Confirmation of Admission: Admission will be confirmed after completing all the processes.

Only students who have passed the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 and are included in the merit list can participate in the counselling process.

Candidates are advised to login within the stipulated timeline to accept the allotted seat, pay the seat acceptance fee and upload the required documents. Failure to respond on time may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
