JEE Advanced 2024: IIT Madras has Revised Registration Dates; Application to Begin on April 27

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has revised the JEE Advanced 2024 registration dates. The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2024 application process which was scheduled to start on April 21 will now start on April 27. The last date to apply has been postponed till May 7. The last date for fee payment for registered candidates is 10th May.

Candidates who rank in the top 2.5 lakh and qualify JEE Main 2024 will be eligible to register for JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. Those wishing to apply must be born on or after October 1, 1999. Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories are given age relaxation of five years. People who want to apply from this category must be born on or after 1 October 1994.

JEE Advanced 2024 will be conducted as per schedule on May 26. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: Paper I from 9 am to 12 noon and Paper II from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Admit card will be available for download from 17th May.

Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 online registration will start on June 9 and end on June 10. The AAT exam will be conducted on June 12 in a single shift from 9 am to 12 noon. AAT results will be out on June 15, 2024. The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024 process is expected to begin on June 10. Candidates can get additional information on the official JEE Advanced website.

For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs and other universities, students who qualify JEE Advanced will have to appear for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling session after the results are made public. JoSAA conducts counseling for a total of 118 institutes. Every year, JoSAA conducts up to six rounds of counseling for admission into various IITs.
