The JEE Advanced 2024 exam will take place on May 26, organized by IIT Madras. Candidates with disabilities (PwD) or those with less than 40% disability who have difficulty writing can choose scribes on May 25. The admit cards for JEE Advanced 2024 are now available.

JEE Advanced 2024 : Scribe Assistance for Candidates

A scribe will help candidates by reading questions and entering answers as directed. They will not explain questions or suggest answers. Candidates needing a scribe had to request one from the chairperson of their nearest zonal coordinating IIT during the application process.

JEE Advanced 2024 : Arrangements for Scribes

The zonal coordinating IITs will arrange for a panel of scribes, coordinated through the test center administrator (TCA). Scribes will be Class 11 science students with mathematics as one of their subjects. Candidates cannot bring their own scribes and must choose from the provided panel.

JEE Advanced 2024 : Meeting Your Scribe

Candidates can meet the panel of scribes on May 25, the day before the exam, in the presence of IIT representatives, the TCA, and an invigilator. They can then select their scribe from this panel.

JEE Advanced 2024 : Exam Duration

The JEE Advanced 2024 exam lasts three hours for most candidates. However, PwD candidates and those with less than 40% disability who need extra time will have four hours to complete the exam.
