JEE Advanced: Maharashtra Board Releases Category-wise Top 20 Percentile cut-off for IIT Admission

Today, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, based in Pune, has announced cut-off marks for top 20 percentile for students aspiring to join 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Here are the cut-off marks category-wise:
General and General EWS: 378 marks
OBC NCL: 383 marks
SC: 364 marks
ST: 366 marks
These cut-off marks have surged considerably from last year. For the General and EWS category, the minimum cut-off marks required are 378; for OBC NCL, the marks are 383; for SC, it's 364; and for ST, it's 366. These cut-off marks have increased significantly from the previous year. In 2023, they were 348 for General and EWS, 352 for OBC NCL, 331 for SC, and 323 for ST.
In a related development, the file of the Maharashtra Board HSC exam results also opened late on Tuesday.
JEE Advanced 2024
IIT Madras will this year conduct the JEE Advanced exam on Sunday, May 26. Examination schedule is as follows:
Paper 1: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Paper 2: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM
How to download the admit card:
- Go to the jeeadv.ac.in.
- Click on the 'Admit Card' link.
- It will open the candidate portal.
- Here, enter your registration number, date of birth, and mobile number.
- Click on 'Login'.
- The admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for further use.
Pre-dates for JEE Advanced 2024
- May 31: Candidate responses to questions on the website.
- June 2: Answer key to be announced.
- June 2-3: Grievances and comments on the provisional answer key.
- June 9: Announcement of final answer key and result.
