Maharashtra Board HSC Exam 2027 Applications Begin; Check Fees and Last Date to Apply

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has begun accepting applications for the Maharashtra HSC February-March 2027 board exams. The regular Class 12 students can fill their application forms using the SARAL platform via the PFN-ID generated in the previous academic session.

The Maharashtra HSC 2027 application process began on August 14, 2026. The students can register themselves without paying any late fee up to October 31, 2026.

At the time of applying for the board exams, the board collects the information of the students from the FYJC online portal. The students belonging to MCVC and ITI stream whose information is not available in the FYJC portal would have to give their information to their divisional board.

The online registration process is available for regular students, repeater students, private candidates with enrolment certificate and other vocational or specified categories. Those students who have APPAR ID can give it at the time of filling the application form.

Maharashtra HSC Exam 2027 Application Dates

Students who don't complete the registration by October 31 will get another chance to submit their forms with a late fee.

Candidates should complete the form within the regular application period to avoid paying late charges.

Maharashtra HSC 2027 Photo Guidelines

The HSC 2027 application notice from MSBSHSE was released on August 13, 2026. The board has even provided guidelines regarding uploading a recent colour passport-size photograph in the exam form.

The students are advised to upload photographs as per the following criteria:

• Format of the photograph should be JPG.
• Size of the file must range from 25 KB to 40 KB.
• The photograph should not be older than 6 months.
• The face of the student should be clearly identifiable.
• The both eyes and ears of the student should be clearly visible.

Even the background and the quality of the photograph need to be as per the requirements set by the board.

All Class 12 students taking the exam of Maharashtra HSC Board in 2027 should fill out their applications within the mentioned dates.
