Today, the National Testing Agency (NTA) unveiled the ultimate answer key for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024, session 2, paper 1. They've announced that four questions have been excluded from the final answer key for the session 2 exam.
For those who took part in the JEE Mains April session exam, the final answer key is available for viewing on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.

What if Questions are Dropped?
For Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), if none of the options is deemed correct or a question is found to be erroneous or excluded, all candidates who appeared will receive full marks, regardless of whether they attempted the question or not.
If all options are considered correct, then all those who attempted the question will receive Four marks (+4). Similarly, if more than one option is correct, only those who marked any of the correct options will receive Four marks (+4).
Similarly, for numerical value questions, if a question is incorrect or excluded, then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who attempted the question. This could be due to human or technical error.
During this year's session one JEE Main exam, a total of six questions were excluded. Among these, five were from the second shift and one from the first shift. In the second shift, three mathematics questions and two physics questions were excluded. In the first shift, only one physics question was excluded.
The provisional answer key for the paper one exam was released on April 12, 2024. Candidates had until April 14, 2024, to challenge the answer key. The NTA reviewed these challenged questions before releasing the final answer key today.
Based on the final answer key, NTA is anticipated to announce the JEE Mains session 2 results by tomorrow. Students ranking under 2.5 lakh will qualify to take the JEE Advanced exam 2024, scheduled for May 26.
