JEE Main 2025 Photo Upload: Correct Photos Must Be Submitted by January 17; NTA Advises Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has asked all candidates to upload the right photograph for their JEE Main 2025 application. If the photo is not uploaded correctly, the application could be rejected. The last date to upload the correct photo is January 17, 11:50 pm.

Candidates who need to change their photo will be notified through email and SMS. To update the photo, candidates just need to log in and follow the link to upload a new photo.

JEE Main 2025 Photo Guidelines

1. The photo should be passport-size and between 10 KB and 300 KB.

2. It must be a recent color photo with 80% of the face visible (no mask) and a white background.

3. The photo should be named “Photograph” and in JPG/JPEG format, with clear details.

4. If you wear spectacles, you can keep them on in the photo.

5. Polaroid or computer-generated photos won’t be accepted.

6. Applications with blurry or incorrect photos could be rejected.

7. Applications without a proper photo will be rejected.

The photo does not need to be attested, as mentioned in the notification. Candidates are advised to keep 6-8 passport-size photos with a white background.

If the uploaded photo is found to be fake, altered, or computer-generated, the application will be rejected. This will be treated as using unfair means, and the candidate will face the consequences.
