The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the results for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 (Paper 1 – BE/BTech). The results were announced late at night, and candidates can now check their scorecards on the official website: jeemain.nta.ac.in. To access their results, students need to log in using their application number and password.

Top Performers and Statistics
This year, 24 students secured a perfect 100 percentile, with Rajasthan leading the tally—7 toppers from the state. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Telangana followed, each with 3 toppers.
Notably, two girls made it to the elite list:

Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh, who had already topped the January session, repeated her feat.

Devdutta Majhi, the West Bengal topper from Session 1, scored a stellar 99.99921 percentile, and has now achieved a perfect score in Session 2.
Out of 10.61 lakh students who registered for JEE Main 2025 Session 2, 9.92 lakh actually appeared for the exam.
Exam Dates and Key Details

Paper 1 (BE/BTech) was conducted on April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8.

Paper 2 (BArch/BPlan) took place on April 9.

The final answer key has already been released, with two questions dropped from the evaluation.

Marking Scheme for JEE Main 2025
The exam paper is divided into two parts—Section A (MCQs) and Section B (numerical questions)—for each subject.

Correct answer: +4 marks

Incorrect answer: -1 mark

Unanswered/Marked for review: No marks
Special Cases in Marking:

If more than one option is correct, candidates who select any of the correct options get full marks.

If all options are correct, full marks are awarded to everyone who attempted.

If a question is incorrect or dropped, all candidates receive full marks—regardless of their attempt.

Candidates who rank among the top 2.5 lakh in JEE Main 2025 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025, which is the gateway to IIT admissions.
Session 1 Recap
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 (Paper 1) was held on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29. The results were declared on February 11, 2025. Over 12.5 lakh students participated, with a solid 95.93% attendance rate. That session saw 14 candidates securing a perfect 100 percentile.
