The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the dates for JEE Main 2025, continuing its tradition of conducting the exam in two sessions. The first session will take place from January 22 to 31, 2025, and the second session is scheduled for April 2025.

Candidates can now register for Session 1 of the exam on the official website. JEE Main 2025 will feature two papers:

Paper 1: For BE/BTech aspirants
Paper 2: For BArch/BPlanning aspirants

Trends from JEE Main 2024

January 2024 Session: Held from January 24 to 31
April 2024 Session: Conducted from April 6 to 12
Total Registrations in January 2024: 12,21,624 (11,70,048 appeared)
Total Registrations in April 2024: 11,79,569 (10,67,959 appeared)

Registration numbers have shown a consistent increase over the years, with 10.26 lakh candidates registered in 2022, 11.62 lakh in 2023, and even higher in 2024.

Why Appear for Both Sessions?

Attending both sessions offers more opportunities to improve your score and rank. NTA considers the best score out of both attempts, giving students flexibility and reducing the pressure. Even if you're satisfied with your first attempt, participating in the second session can give you an additional chance to boost your score and secure admission into top colleges like NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.

NEET UG and CUET 2025 Exam Dates

The NTA has also mentioned that the dates for NEET UG 2025 and CUET 2025 will be announced soon, ensuring students have clarity on the upcoming major entrance exams.

With the application window open until November 22, students are encouraged to complete their registrations early and start their preparation. Stay updated on further announcements regarding NEET UG 2025 and CUET 2025 for better planning.
