The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration on November 27, 2025. If you haven't applied yet, you can still submit your application form at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

NTA hasn't announced any deadline extension. This means November 27 is your final chance to register.
JEE Main is the gateway to undergraduate engineering, architecture, and planning courses across India. It's also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. NTA will conduct the 2026 exam in two sessions. Session 1 is scheduled for January 2026.

How to Register for JEE Main 2026
Here's how you can complete your registration:
- Go to the official website — jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Registration link.
- Enter your basic details to get an application number.
- Fill in the application form with your personal, academic, and exam-related information.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and category/PwD certificates (if applicable). Follow the exact format mentioned in the notice.
- Pay the exam fee online using debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- Download and save your confirmation page.
The NTA has advised candidates to ensure that all details match official records, especially name, date of birth, gender and category. Discrepancies in Aadhaar or certificates may lead to application rejection.

Important Points to Remember
- You can apply for one or both papers. Paper 1 is for B.E./B.Tech. Paper 2A is for B.Arch. Paper 2B is for B.Planning.
- Fill the form carefully. NTA will only allow changes to limited fields during the correction window.
- Use your own or your parent's/guardian's mobile number and email ID. You'll receive OTPs and all future updates from NTA on these.
- Read the Information Bulletin completely before you submit the form.
Don't Wait Until the Last Minute
The registration window closes on November 27. Heavy traffic on the portal may slow things down on the final day. It's best to complete your application early.
After registration ends, NTA will release exam city information slips. Admit cards for Session 1 will follow soon after.
