JEE Main 2026 Session 2: NTA Confirms Chemistry Answer Key Error - Full Details Here

The issue started when students and educators took to social media — especially X (formerly Twitter) — to flag that NTA had uploaded the wrong provisional answer keys for Chemistry. The problem appears to be specific to the Shift 2 exam held on April 5, which caused a lot of panic among aspirants.

NTA responded with an official post stating: "Reports regarding discrepancies in the JEE Chemistry paper (5 April, S2) have been noted on social media and are currently under verification. NTA regrets the inconvenience caused."

Students React With Frustration

The response didn't sit well with many students and educators. Several took to NTA's comment section to express their anger.

One student wrote, "How irresponsible NTA is? Without verification, how will they be posted? Or making money through challenging questions deliberately."

Another added, "This was a terrible act by NTA….!! How can a testing agency be so inefficient in providing a proper answer key?"

The backlash highlights growing concerns about NTA's handling of one of India's most competitive entrance exams.
