JEE Main Result 2026: Last 5 Years JEE Advanced Cut Off; Check Category-Wise Trends

Students who appeared in the JEE Main 2026 January and April sessions are now waiting for their results. This year, the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main papers were moderately tough compared to last year. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the official JEE Main cut-off along with the final results. Candidates can check updates on the official websites, jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in.

Apart from clearing the JEE Main cut-off, students who want to appear for JEE Advanced must also meet the eligibility criteria based on their Class 12 board results. Generally, candidates from the General and OBC categories need to score at least 75 per cent aggregate marks, while those from the SC, ST, and PwD categories need a minimum of 65 per cent.

Several factors affect the JEE Main cut-off. These include the total number of candidates appearing for the exam and the overall difficulty level of the papers across both sessions.
