National Testing Agency, NTA is conducting the JEE Mains 2024 Paper 1 BE and Btech exam on 27th, 29th, 30th, 31st of January, and 1st of February.  Paper was Overall Very Easy 

This year, the shift 2 candidate of the January 27 exam felt the paper was very easy. Although maths was lengthy, but questions were easy. Chemistry and physics were very easy. Students feel the paper was good and they performed well.

As per the initial reaction of the students, the JEE Main 27 January 2024 Shift 2 exam was easy, Physics and Chemistry were easy. Maths was lengthy but the questions were easy. There were no questions asked from the deleted syllabus.

• Topics mostly asked in maths are: Vector, 3D, functions, straight lines, circles, hyperbola, ellipse, calculus, limit, conic section, matrices, complex numbers.
• Topics mostly asked in physics are: Mechanics, semiconductors, electrostatic, current, rydberg constant, wave, modern physics.
• Topics mostly asked in chemistry are: In Chemistry most questions were from Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. Inorganic was less. The questions came from D block, electrochemistry. Physical chemistry questions were asked in integer type.

 JEE Main 29 January 2024 Shift 1 : Things to Carry 

• JEE Main 2024 Admit Card downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear, preferably colour printout on A4 size paper).
• One Passport size photograph (same as uploaded with the Online Application Form) is to be pasted on the Attendance Sheet at the Centre.
• A valid Photo ID Proof in ORIGINAL (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/Aadhaar Card with photograph/E- Aadhaar/Ration Card/12th Class).
• Candidates can also carry: Personal transparent water bottle and a simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
