The National Testing Agency will close the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Mains 2024 answer key objection window today. NTA released the provisional answer key on Tuesday and invited objections against it till February 8. However, the answer key window went under maintenance and the deadline was extended till today.

Candidates who appeared in the NTA JEE Mains 2024 exam and want to challenge the answer key should do it at jeemain.nta.ac.in. Meanwhile, candidates can calculate their JEE Main rank from the answer key by following these steps.

The challenge window will remain open till 11 pm tonight. Earlier, the last date to challenge JEE Main Answer Key 2024 Session 1 was February 8.

Candidates will also be able to raise objections against the JEE Main provisional answer key by paying Rs 200 per question. The processing fee can be paid through debit card, credit card or net banking. NTA had said, "No challenge will be entertained without receipt of processing fee. Fee for challenge will not be accepted through any other means."

The testing agency had informed that candidates who may have challenged the provisional answers without proper question ID or option ID can challenge them again. Their earlier fees will be refunded soon.

"If the challenge made by the candidate is found correct, the answer key will be revised and will be implemented in the response of all the candidates accordingly. On the basis of the revised final answer key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate "No one will be informed about the acceptance/rejection of his challenge. The key finalized by the experts after disposal of the challenge will be final," NTA said.

Visit the official website – jeemain.nta.ac.in
Click on “Answer Key Challenge” link
Login with your application number and password or date of birth
Click on “View/Challenge Answer Key” and view the question paper
Check Question ID and Given Answer
To challenge NTA option click on the option ID given in the next four columns
Click on 'Save your claims'
Upload documents to support your challenge
Now, click on “Save your claim and finally pay the fee”.
Choose payment method and pay Rs 200
