To see your allotted institute and course, you can log in on the official JoSAA website using your JEE Main application number and password. According to the scheduled timetable, the JoSAA Round 3 Seat Allotment Result is due to be out at 5 PM.

• Go to the "Round 3 Seat Allotment Result" option.
• Login using the application number for JEE Main and the password.
• Find out the allocated institute and programme.
• Download the allotment letter for future use.

What Happens After Seat Allotment?

Candidates who have been allotted seats need to complete their admission procedures from July 6 to July 8, 2026.

The online procedure comprises the following:

• Seat Acceptance Fee (SAF)
• Seat Confirmation
• Documents Upload
• Answer any verification queries that may arise from the authorities.

Do not wait till the last moment to do this, as non-compliance with this deadline may lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat.

If you do not wish to be at your allotted institute/branch, you have three choices available to you – Freeze, Float, or Slide.

JoSAA Round 3 Opening and Closing Ranks 2026

The OR-CR for all the participating institutions will be issued by JoSAA after the completion of the allocation process.

To find out the cut-off ranks, one should go to the OR-CR tab at the JoSAA website and choose the counselling round, the type of the institution, the name of the institution, the programme, and the seat category.

These opening and closing ranks provide an idea of the admission trends and help assess your chances in the coming rounds.
