The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the JoSAA Counselling 2024 schedule. Candidates who pass JEE Advanced 2024 can register on the official website - josaa.nic.in.

The JEE Advanced 2024 results will be announced on June 9, 2024. Registration and choice filling for JoSAA academic programs will start on June 10 at 5 PM.

Candidates who pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can submit their AAT-specific choices starting June 14, 2024, after the AAT results are declared. JoSAA Counselling 2024 will have five rounds.

JoSAA Counselling 2024: Eligibility

Eligible candidates must register and fill in their choices for institutes and courses, which will be allotted based on their rank. Previously, JoSAA counselling was jointly conducted by NIT Rourkela, but there is no update on this for this year. Students can register on the official website—josaa.nic.in.

JoSAA Counselling 2024: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website— josaa.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the registration link given on the website

Step 3: Enter your credentials such as JEE Main application number and date of birth

Step 4: Complete the choice filing process

Step 5: Review and lock the filled-in choices

The counselling process takes place when candidates lock in their choices and then the authority releases two mock seat allocation before reconciliation of data, verification, and validation of allocated seats.

Candidates have an option to withdraw or exit from the seat allocation process. Last year, six rounds of counselling were conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority.
