Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 Admission Schedule Released by KEA: Check Details
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 post-allotment schedule. The schedule is for candidates who have been allotted seats in MBA, MCA, M.E., M.Tech and M.Arch programmes.
KEA released the first-round final seat allotment results on September 25, 2026. Candidates who received seats must pay the prescribed fee, download the required admission documents and report to their allotted college within the given deadlines.
Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 Post-Allotment Schedule
According to the KEA notification dated September 28, 2026, the fee payment process will begin on September 29, 2026.
KEA has also directed participating colleges and institutes to remain open on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays during the counselling period.

What to Do After Karnataka PGCET 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment?
Candidates who have received a seat in the first-round allotment must complete the admission process within the given deadlines.
Step 1: Pay the Admission Fee
Candidates must pay the prescribed tuition and admission fee through the designated banking channels during banking hours. The fee payment window will remain open from September 29 to October 3, 2026.
Step 2: Download the Seat Confirmation Slip
After completing the fee payment, candidates must log in to the official KEA portal and download the Seat Confirmation Slip. The slip can be downloaded until October 4, 2026.
Step 3: Report to the Allotted College
Candidates must report to their allotted college in person and submit the required original documents along with the Seat Confirmation Slip.
The reporting deadline is October 5, 2026, up to 6:00 PM.
Karnataka PGCET 2026 Admission Eligibility
KEA has stated that final admission will be subject to the academic eligibility criteria prescribed under the respective postgraduate admission rules by the competent authority or university.
The SC, ST and OBC reservation and eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification will apply only to Karnataka candidates belonging to these categories.
Candidates should complete each admission step within the specified deadline and follow the instructions issued by KEA.
