KCET 2026 Round 2 Option Modification

After the mock allotment is verified by the candidates, it is essential that they verify the allotted college and course. In case they are not satisfied with the indicative allotment, they can modify their choice options. The candidate will be able to:

  • Include new colleges/courses in the option list.
  • Exclude the colleges/courses that they do not want anymore.
  • Arrange the priority of their choices.
  • Check the mock cut-off as well as the allotment trends.
  • They must place their most preferred colleges/courses in the option list.

KCET Round 2 Mock Allotment: Guidelines for Candidates

KEA has made it clear that the mock allotment for KCET Round 2 is just indicative. This is meant to give the aspirants an idea of what kind of chance they have at securing a seat on the basis of their present preference, merit position, and seats left.

The candidates must not go and join the college allotted to them in the mock allotment. The mock allotment does not mean a confirmed seat for them.

The final seat allotment list will be declared by KEA independently after the completion of the process of option entry and modifications.

The candidates must utilize the mock allotment result to make the necessary changes to their preferences, if any, before the closing of the option entry window.
