Mumbai: On Monday the Maharashtra Government declared summer vacation for students of classes 1 to 9 and class 11 across the schools in the Maharashtra state. 

The announced summer break for these classes 1 to 9, 11 will start from May 2 and will continue till June 12, 2022.

As per the released circular of the state’s school education department, the next academic session will begin on June 13, 2022. However there is an exception that is Vidarbha, where the educational institutes will reopen on June 27 owing to high day temperatures in the region during the period. 

Schools Results For Classes I to Class IX and XI

The schools results of Classes I to Class IX and XI are still pending but it will be announced on April 30 or maybe during the vacation period. 

COVID-19 Situation In Maharashtra

At this moment, the COVID-19 situations are a bit better as on Monday 41 new COVID-19 cases were found, however it is the lowest daily count in nearly two years. 

The death toll didn’t change at 1,47,816 with no fresh addition to the fatality count in the last 24 hours, according to the health department bulletin.
