The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is closing the NEET UG 2024 counselling registration and choice filling for round 1 today. Candidates with a valid NEET UG score must complete their registration, choice filling, and locking to be considered for MBBS and BDS admissions.
You can access the MCC NEET UG counselling registration link on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The choice locking facility will begin at 4 pm today and will be available until 11:55 pm. Once you lock your choices, the MCC will process the round 1 seat allotment from August 21 to 22, with results expected on August 23.
The MCC NEET counselling will fill 15% of All India Quota seats, 100% MBBS and BDS seats at BHU, AIIMS across India, JIPMER, and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), among others.
The MCC advises candidates to lock their choices to get a printout of their submitted preferences. If you don't lock your choices, they’ll be automatically locked according to the schedule.
After round 1, the MCC will start NEET UG round 2 counselling registration on September 5. There will be four rounds of counselling for MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other UG medical courses.
