The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will open registration for the second round of National Eligibility Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2024 on September 5. This round is for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS programs at medical and dental colleges. The deadline to apply for MCC NEET UG counselling 2024 is September 10.
Applicants who registered during the first round but did not receive a seat or did not report to their assigned seat do not need to register again. However, new applicants for round 2 must pay the registration fee and select new choices of colleges and courses.
If an applicant does not receive a seat in round 2, they can proceed to round 3 without re-registering. However, if a seat is allotted in NEET UG 2nd counselling 2024 and the applicant does not attend, their security deposit will be forfeited.
MCC NEET UG Counselling 2024: Who is Eligible for 2nd Seat Allotment?
- Registered candidates who were not assigned a seat in the first round of counselling.
- Registered candidates whose round 1 allotted seat was cancelled during document verification but are still eligible for seat allotment in the next round, depending on seat availability in their category.
- Applicants who reported to their allotted institute during round 1 and opted for an upgrade in the second round.
- Those who were assigned a seat but did not participate in the process.
- Aspirants who resigned online from their seat given in the first round.
