The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has started the option entry process for CAP Round 1 today, August 9. The final merit list for MHT CET 2024 was released on August 8, showing which candidates can participate in CAP Round 1 for seat allocation.

Key Dates:

Option Entry Deadline: Make sure to complete the option entry by August 11 on the official portal at cetcell.mahacet.org.
Seat Allotment Result: Results for CAP Round 1 seat allocation will be announced on August 14. You can check your result using your registration number and date of birth.

What’s Next:

If you are given a seat, you need to accept it and report to the assigned institute between August 14 and August 17. Remember to bring your documents and pay the necessary fees at the institute. If you don’t complete these steps on time, you will lose the seat.

Be sure to review your options carefully before submitting, as changes aren’t allowed after submission. The CAP process is crucial for getting into your preferred institution, and seat allocation is based on your CET 2024 rank, ensuring a fair process.

Institutes will verify your documents and update your admission status online. You will also receive a system-generated confirmation and fee receipt. If it turns out that a seat was given based on incorrect information, the institute won’t admit you, and you’ll need to raise a grievance through your login.
