The provisional merit list of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2025 will be released on July 18, 2025 on the official website fe2025.mahacet.org. This list will be prepared for admission to BE and BTech courses.
This process of admission to BE and BTech courses is being done under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for Maharashtra State and All India candidates. Candidates have to register on the CAP portal and select the college through choice filling.
How is the Merit List Prepared?
The provisional merit list of MHT CET 2025 will be prepared on the basis of:
- Marks obtained in MHT CET 2025
- Choice filling of the candidate
- Availability of seats in colleges
This merit list will be provisional and the final list will be released later.
How to file an Objection on the Merit List?
If a candidate finds any mistake in the provisional merit list, he can file his objection till 21 July 2025. For this, the candidate has to:
- Visit the MHT CET login portal and file a complaint
- Upload the required documents
- If the document verification is chosen offline, then the objection has to be filed by visiting the Facilitation Center
After reviewing the objections by the State CET Cell, it will be accepted or rejected, which will be informed on the candidate's portal.
When will the Final Merit List be Released?
After all objections are reviewed and settled, the final merit list of MHT CET 2025 will be published on 24th July 2025. The further process of CAP round will be conducted based on this.
What are the Tie-Breaking Rules?
If two or more candidates have the same marks, the merit will be decided based on these criteria:
- Higher marks in MHT CET Mathematics
- Higher marks in Physics
- Higher marks in Chemistry
- Overall percentage in PCM board exams
- Percentage of Mathematics in 12th
- Percentage of Physics in 12th
- Overall marks in class 12th
