MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 2 Cutoff Released; COEP CSE, VJTI IT Cross 99.9 Percentile
The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 2 cutoff for first-year engineering admissions. The cutoff has been issued college-wise and branch-wise for participating institutes.
Separate cutoff PDFs are available for Maharashtra State (MH) and All India (AI) candidates. The Round 2 cutoff shows strong competition for Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and related programmes.
Cutoffs for several core engineering branches and other participating colleges are lower compared with the top computer-related courses.

COEP CSE Cutoff Remains above 99.9 Percentile
COEP Technological University continues to record a high cutoff for Computer Science and Engineering. For the GOPENS category, the CSE branch closed at 99.9723948 percentile with a Maharashtra State General Merit number of 170.
The cutoff also remained high for reserved and special categories. The GSCS cutoff was 98.9723 percentile, while GSEBCS and GOBCS closing percentiles were above 99.8.
Other engineering branches at COEP also recorded high cutoffs. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering had a GOPENS cutoff of 99.8423 percentile.
Electrical Engineering closed at 99.6348 percentile. Instrumentation and Control Engineering recorded a GOPENS cutoff of 99.5889 percentile, while Mechanical Engineering closed at 99.5525 percentile.

VJTI IT Cutoff Crosses 99.9 Percentile
Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, also recorded a very high cutoff in MHT CET CAP Round 2.
The Information Technology programme closed at 99.9922813 percentile for the GOPENS category. The corresponding State General Merit number was 75.
The figures show that IT and other computer-related programmes at VJTI remain among the most competitive choices for engineering aspirants in Maharashtra.
MHT CET 2026 All India Round 2 Cutoff
For All India candidates, COEP's Computer Science and Engineering programme closed at an All India merit number of 361. The corresponding JEE Main percentile was 99.2748.
The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning branch at COEP closed at an All India merit number of 413, corresponding to a JEE Main percentile of 99.1999.
At Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT), Computer Engineering closed at All India rank 893 with a JEE Main percentile of 98.6885.
PICT's Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programme closed at rank 999, corresponding to a JEE Main score of 98.5860 percentile.
