Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) is going to declare the CAP Round 1 seat allotment result for BE/BTech courses today, 31st July 2025. Candidates who appeared for the MHT CET 2025 exam can check their seat allotment status by visiting the official website fe2025.mahacet.org.

The seat allotment process in CAP Round 1 will be based on the candidate's MHT CET score, preferences filled and seat availability. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to the respective college or institute between 1st to 3rd August 2025 and confirm their seat.

Click on the “CAP Round 1 Seat Allotment 2025” link on the homepage
Enter your application ID and password
The seat allotment status will appear on the screen
Download and save it for future reference

Important Points

If a candidate gets his/her first choice of seat, he/she will not be able to participate in the further rounds.
Such a candidate will have to complete the process of seat acceptance, document verification and fee payment.

Candidates who could not get a seat in CAP Round 1 or did not get a seat of their choice can wait for the next round. The information about the vacant seats for CAP Round 2 will be released on 4 August 2025. After this, the option form can be filled from 5 to 7 August. The provisional allotment of CAP Round 2 will be done on 11 August and the process of seat acceptance and reporting to the institutes will have to be completed between 12 to 14 August.

Therefore, candidates are advised to login to the website on time and follow all the instructions and take necessary steps within the stipulated time limit to ensure their admission.
