NEET 2023 Result : UP Tops with Highest Number of Qualifying Candidates, Maharashtra Ranks Second
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023), determining admissions to medical courses. According to the NEET UG 2023 results, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as the state with the highest number of qualifying candidates, while Maharashtra witnessed significant participation in the NEET examination.
This year, Maharashtra saw a substantial number of students appearing for NEET, with a total of 2,73,819 candidates. Out of these, an impressive 1,31,008 students successfully qualified for the medical entrance exam. In Uttar Pradesh, 2,67,383 students took the NEET test, with 1,39,961 candidates clearing the exam. Overall, the number of NEET registrations has witnessed a significant increase from approximately 16 lakh last year to over 20 lakh this year.
The NEET UG 2023 result links are now active on the official website of NTA, neet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can access three different NEET 2023 result links to download their scorecards. With the NEET results announced, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon release the NEET UG counselling schedule.
Following Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, Rajasthan had the next highest number of candidates registering for NEET, followed by Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, respectively.
