The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is set to commence the registration process for round 1 All India Quota (AIQ) seats of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) today, July 20. Eligible candidates who have cleared NEET 2023 and obtained the minimum cut-off marks can apply online at mcc.nic.in. This registration will be for the 15 percent AIQ seats available in various medical colleges offering admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued an important notification regarding the opening of the online portal for the generation of PwD certificates. This announcement, released on July 5, pertains to candidates who have registered under the PwD quota in the NEET-UG(2023) NTA form. It notifies them that the PwD portal, operated by the Designated Disability NEET screening Centres, is now accessible for the generation of PwD certificates. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate (NEET UG) counselling 2023. The registration for the first round will commence on July 20, and candidates must complete the process by July 25. From July 22 to July 26, candidates will have the opportunity to choose and secure their preferred medical colleges and courses. On July 29, the round 1 seat allotment result will be announced. MCC is responsible for organizing NEET Counselling 2023 for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges, 100% seats in deemed/central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMS. Based on the NEET 2023 Merit list provided by NTA, MCC conducts counselling for the 15% AIQ seats for qualified NEET 2023 candidates.

Last year, the NEET Cut-off Opening and Closing Ranks for AIIMS Delhi were 1 and 55, respectively, for the General category.
Starting from the previous year, OCI/PIO/Foreign Nationals can only apply for NRI category seats. For 85% State Quota Seats and 100% seats in private colleges, respective state authorities conduct NEET Counselling 2023. AACCC manages NEET Counselling for admission to AYUSH courses (BAMS/BHMS/BUMS) on aaccc.gov.in.
Through NEET Counselling 2023, around 91,927 MBBS, 27,698 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, and 603 BVSc seats in approximately 612 medical and 315 dental colleges in India, including AIIMS and JIPMER, will be granted admission. The steps involved in NEET Counselling Registration are as follows:

Visit the official website of MCC and click on the link for ‘New Registration Round 1’
- Click on ‘New Candidate Registration’ link mentioned below the Sign In option. You will be redirected to a new window. Read the terms and click on ‘I Agree’.
- To register for NEET Counselling 2023, enter your Roll Number, Candidate name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, and Security Pin mentioned on the page.
NEET Counselling 2023 Fees
Once the registration process is complete, candidates are required to make a payment of the non-refundable NEET 2023 counselling registration fees along with a refundable security deposit.
