NEET UG 2023 Stray Round Counselling Extended: NMC Notice

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the stray round counselling for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) as per the Supreme Court's directive to fill vacant All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota MBBS seats. The NEET UG counselling, initially concluded by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on November 15, will reopen the portal for eligible candidates.
As per the latest notification from NMC, eligible candidates must submit online details for 1st-year MBBS Course admissions for the academic year 2023-24 by November 27, 2023. To access the online portal for data entry, candidates can use the link:
Recently, MCC published the NEET UG final stray vacancy round allotment results, with 302 candidates securing MBBS seats in various medical colleges. Further details about the last NEET UG counselling round are anticipated to be announced shortly on mcc.nic.in. Admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical courses is conducted through MCC and state counselling based on NEET UG ranks.
In related news, the NEET UG 2024 exam is scheduled for May 5. Registration for NEET UG 2024 will commence in January. The National Testing Agency (NTA), responsible for conducting the exam, has announced the upcoming publication of the reduced NEET UG syllabus on the official website neet.nta.nic.in.
