- Stick to light and straightforward clothing for a hassle-free exam day.
NEET Dress Code 2024 for Female Candidates
- For Female appearing for the NEET 2024 exam, here are things to keep in mind: No brooches, flowers, badges or jeans are allowed.
- Avoid decorative accessories like earrings, nose rings, pendants and necklaces – their use is prohibited in the examination hall.
- You can wear light colored denim pants and a half sleeve t-shirt, but make sure the buttons of the shirt are of medium size.
- Kurtis are a perfect outfit for exam attire. And remember, leggings and palazzos are a no.

NEET 2024 : Exam Day Tips & Guidelines
The candidate must reach the NEET exam center at the time indicated against reporting/entry time at the centre in the admit card. No candidate shall be permitted to enter the examination centre after the gate closing time. Reaching on time will also help in completing all pre-examination formalities efficiently. This will facilitate a seamless and orderly conduct of the examination.
- Arrive Early: Reach the test center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned in your admit card.
- Write Your Details: Write your name and roll number on the rough sheet provided during the exam.
- Return Materials: Hand over both the rough sheets and your admit card to the invigilator before leaving the exam hall.
- Diabetic students are allowed to bring eatables like sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottles to the test center. However, packed foods like chocolates, candy, sandwiches, etc., are not permitted.
Bio-break Rules for Candidates
No bio-break will be allowed during the first one hour after the commencement of the examination and during the last half hour of the examination. Apart from biometric attendance and frisking on entry, candidates will be frisked and biometric attendance will be taken again on entry from bio-break/toilet break.
