NEET UG 2025 Counselling: MCC Starts Round-1 Seat Resignation Process

MCC NEET UG 2025 Counseling: Seat Resign Dates

According to the notification issued by MCC, the Round-1 seat resignation process will start from August 21 and will run till August 25 at 5 pm. During this period, candidates can go to their allotted college and complete the process of leaving the seat.

MCC NEET UG 2025 Counseling: How will the process happen?

Candidates will have to go to their allotted college and officially resign.

• The resignation process should be uploaded on the online portal by the college only, only then it will be considered valid.
• After receiving the resignation slip from the college, it is mandatory to upload it on the MCC portal.
• If the online resignation is not registered by the college, it will be considered invalid.

MCC NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Who will get the benefit?

Candidates who had accepted the seat in Round-1 but now want to leave, they can resign the seat under this process.

• If the candidates leaving the seat fulfill all the eligibility criteria, then they will get an opportunity to participate in Round-2.
• At the same time, candidates who did not accept the seat of Round-1 will automatically be considered eligible for Round-2.

The process of Round-2 will start soon. In this, not only new seats will be allotted but the vacant seats from Round-1 will also be added. Candidates will again get a chance to choose the college and course as per their choice.
