NEET UG 2025 Counselling Round 1 Registration Extended Till August 3 for PwBD Candidates

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date of registration for Round 1 of NEET UG 2025 counseling to August 3, 2025, giving relief to differently abled (PwBD) candidates.
This decision has been taken in view of the problems faced by those candidates who were facing difficulty in getting the certificate from the designated disability certification centers on time.

Now apply online till August 3
The registration for the first round for NEET UG counseling was earlier scheduled to be done till July 31, but now PwBD candidates can register till August 3 at 1 pm. Also, the facility of fee payment will be available till 4 pm on the same day. Candidates can fill their choices till August 3 at 11:59 pm, while the choice locking time has been fixed from 6 pm to 11:55 pm.
Seat Allotment and Reporting Dates
After the completion of the registration process, seat processing will be done on August 4 and 5. The result of Round 1 will be released by MCC on 6th August 2025. Candidates who are allotted colleges will have to report to the respective institutes between 7th and 11th August 2025.
NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Process to Apply
Candidates can register online by following the simple steps given below:
- Visit the official website mcc.nic.in
- Click on the “UG Medical Counselling” section
- Log in with NEET UG 2025 login credentials or register as a fresh candidate
- Fill the application form and upload the required documents
- Pay the application fee
- Fill and lock your college and course preferences
- Download the confirmation page and save it for future reference
How many seats are available?
This counselling process includes MBBS and BDS seats under 15% All India Quota (AIQ). Also:
- Around 2,000 MBBS seats in 17 AIIMS institutes
- 507 B.Sc Nursing seats in 9 institutes
- Around 14,000 seats in Deemed Universities
