NEET UG Counselling 2025: Has Round 2 Started? Check Latest Update

NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2 has not started yet, but it has been confirmed to start from August 29, 2025 in a new notification from MCC.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the second round of NEET 2025 counselling is now likely to begin from August 29, 2025. Earlier, the process was scheduled to begin from August 21, but it has been changed due to the inclusion of newly authorized MBBS seats.

New MBBS seats will also be included in this phase so that more and more students can benefit.

However, the complete schedule has not been released by MCC yet. This means that the dates for choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting will be announced soon. MCC has also clarified that the revised schedule will be released “shortly” i.e. in a few days.

Special update for Divyang candidates

MCC has added 13 new Disability Centres this time. Here Divyang candidates can get their medical examination done and get Disability Certificate. This facility has been activated for UG Counselling Round 2 and will be available till 9 September 2025.

What students need to do?

Log in to the official website of MCC (mcc.nic.in).
Go to the UG Medical Counselling section and look for “Notice for revision of Round 2 schedule”.
If you are already registered, login to verify whether you are included in Round 2 or not.
PwBD candidates can visit the new Disability Centres and get their certificates made.
Keep checking the MCC website regularly till the revised schedule is released.
